About Learn The Pitch

1. What Learn The Pitch is

Learn The Pitch makes two free daily football puzzles. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and a new one arrives at 00:00 UTC.

• Daily Player: one footballer, six guesses. Guess the player's known name from their continent and the letter count, with their national team's flag as a hint after two guesses.
• Build My Press: find a passing route through a pressing defence and score in four passes or fewer. No player knowledge needed.

Both games let you challenge a friend with a link once you finish. No account is needed, and your progress is saved in your browser.

2. How we prepare the puzzles

Daily Player answers, club clues and facts are prepared by hand and checked against reliable sources before they are scheduled. Build My Press boards are checked by a rules engine so every daily board can be solved.

3. Independence

Learn The Pitch is operated by Rimal Labs LLC. We are not affiliated with FIFA, IFAB, UEFA, CONCACAF, or any national football association. All opinions are our own. The site is funded through advertising.
